Through connections with a developer and contractor in Colorado, our agency landed the coveted role of naming and branding a local market on Ute Mountain Ute land. The construction of the market will solve a major issue for those living on the reservation: being in a food desert. The nearest grocery store is a huge trek upstate, inaccessible to many, and doesn't necessarily promote the economy of the Ute reservation. Branding this market was a huge deal to the Ute people and needed to be done carefully and with their culture and best interest in mind.
When all is said and done, the market will act as a gathering place for residents and be used to promote the art, food, and businesses of those living on the reservation.
