Keeping Homeowners Updated
I saw a real need for transparency between Schell and future homeowners about the building process. Homeowners were understandably anxious for their new home to be built, and often it was difficult for us to explain why things take as long as they do.
I developed a series of videos called 'Schell Construction Milestones' to help educate future homeowners and keep them excited about their build. The series was rolled out in phases to each homeowner individually, they would receive a video in their portal based on what phase of the construction process they were in.
Wearing many (hard) Hats
Getting so close and personal with the construction process was interesting for me. I was there for every phase, with my camera, and hardhat on, learning and capturing the intricate process of building a home. The homeowners were ecstatic and so grateful for the knowledge and transparency. The hours and months of recording and getting dirty on construction sites was worth it for them.
